Mission and Implementation

The Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club is a service organization committed to community enrichment through the support and development of programs which focus upon four major areas. Those areas are: (1) the prevention of child abuse: (2) youth development and education: (3) Americanism; and, (4) community outreach.

Mission Implementation

Our grants to local Johns Island organizations are focused in the above four areas and include donations to schools, individual students, charitable service organizations and groups supporting the community in these areas.

We are fortunate to have a fundraising program that allows us to provide a service to the local residents of Kiawah, Seabrook, Kiawah River Estates, Bohicket Marina and Cassique through publishing an annual Handbook and Directory with a directory of the names, addresses and phone numbers of the local residents; advertisements from merchants and service providers doing business with the local residents and visitors; and, a handbook section with items of interest to the residents. The Handbook/Directory ad revenue provides over $100,000 each year to support the Club’s grant program.
